This from the Urban Dictionary, and purely for the benefit of my European friends, who may not be familiar with the phrase:
1.) ...and the horse you rode in on - referring namely to you, et.al. (i.e. “F*ck you and the horse you rode in on!”)
A way to make expletives just that little bit more colourful, a favorite occurrence of this idiom can be found at the end of Raging Bull.
